Yin yoga class with Galina

A Yin yoga class is suitable for people of all body types, ages and fitness levels, and it consists of series of long-held, passive floor poses that work the parts of the body that are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. In addition to Yin practice, a class with Galina includes Pranayama (breathing exercises) in the beginning and a Sound Healing session at the end during Savasana.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your own yoga mat, and a small pillow or bolster and/or a small blanket. If you have yoga blocks, please bring them as well. You will not sweat at class, so if you easily get cold, wear layers and socks to stay warm.
